i admit some people in my faith seem to think they are superior. most times it is the same breed of wackos who thought and still think they are superior to the non-whites.
We chrisitans are not superior but believe that we have found the truth in Jesus: that all men are sinners and can be washed clean trhough belief in that Jesus died and rose again. we are to believe that his blood was shed to wash away all of our sin.
The chrsitian church needs to understand this and things will change. i feel.

Racial inequality will always be around, because the minorities push it. Religious inequality will always abound, because the Christians are always blamed for it, when in fact, half the time it's another sect that begins it. No one is superior over anyone else, regardless of race or religion, so why doesn't the rest of the world agree with this and fix this problem? Because if they scream inequality, they get pity and attention. America was begun on Christian principles, so we must honor that, by the way.

Racial equality and religious equality are nowhere near the same thing. People are equal, ideas are not always. If I have a bad idea there's no reason for us all to act like it's a good one. Similarly since religions make truth claims, if the claim itself is shown to be false it should not be held as equal to another religion whose truth claims have not been shown to be false. To act like ideas are equal to people is as much a slur to people as racism. A group of people can all hold a bad idea something like ten percent of people believe we never landed on the moon. Their idea is worth less than the conflicting view. But a race of people are not worth less than any other group. In a sense you refute your argument within your question. You say the idea of racism is lesser than the idea of equality. and beyond that wouldn't a religion that held to some form of racism be lesser than a religion that didn't.

Race and religion face the same bottom line. There will always be conflicts on both sides until the end of the world.

Yes, freedom of religion is a right, not a privilege.
Unfortunately recent events show that not everyone has freedom of religion.
For example the government decided the Branch Davidians did not have freedom of religion. The FBI burned down their church in Waco as revenge for them defending themselves from the ATF.
What was their crime?
They had an odd ball religion that most of us would not approve of.
But it was a Christian relgion.
And it still is.
The re-opening of their church a few years ago had several famous people attendeing including Lady Bird Johnson.

Yes, cristians are displaying an awful amount of cruelty towards others out of ignornce and malice, if thats what you were getting at. And they have been for quite some time. When they realize that someone else is right, they realize they might be wrong. Discriminating others is all they have to keep themselves in the dark, I couldnt even begun to tell you what they have done in the name of hate of others.

Racial inequality is still bad, the only difference is that white people are not as openly racist all the time. Whites still believe that blacks and others are inferior to them, but they don't really want to kill all the black people now.

To single out one religion over other religions is a generalization that one should know better than to make.
Try being a little more complex than your question demonstrates.

This is the basis of religion , to consider that people who don't share your belief are somehow inferior and deserve to spend eternity in hell.
It is an anti-social practise.
