I love to drink Dr. Pepper. I mean it is what I prefer 4 to 1 to all other sodas (pop) if not greater. However if it is hot or lukewarm I don't like it. The whole taste of it, hot or cold leaves me wondering, however, why I enjoy it so much. When eating, I love ice cold DP. Any thoughts?

well here is a little something to make you feel better. I like my Diet Coke luke warm I can't drink it cold it has a weird taste to me when cold. My brother has to have ice cold Mountain Dew or he will put it back and take another out of the fridge (which is set at the coldest so he can have his Mt Dew that cold.)
so You go ahead and enjoy your DR>PEPPER that cold it's not weird,you just know what you like.

Well, it doesnt really taste all that great anyway. Fresh, it still tastes like flat Coke. The whole reason you drink cold drinks is they are refreshing. No drink is refreshing when warm
Did you know one of the ingredients in DP is prune juice?Yuk
Maybe you are just addicted to the caffiene.
Maybe you are addicted to the sugar and the rush that follows.
If you want to taste something really good, mix a little pineapple juice with your DP. I know THAT sounds weird but it is really yummy.

Well Dr Pepper was created in the South. Maybe warm is a southern thing or even the way it is supposed to be drunk. Anyway, weird is only in the eyes of the beholder.

ME TOO, I love Dr. Pepper. Any lukewarm drink I don't like, even water. When your thirsty you want something cold to refresh you & warm drinks just make you more thirsty, not to mention taste aweful (at least to me).

nah. it's not weird. because if this is, then my dr. pepper situation would also be considered weird.
i love dr. pepper too. room temperature dr. pepper isn't good, i agree.
