Maybe this sounds childish...
It probably is. But I'm a little gunshy when it comes to these sorts of things, and I don't believe the guy should always make the first move.
Basically, I like this guy and he likes me. There's very little chance of rejection here, but I want a more creative way to ask him out. I'm a pretty outgoing person, and I'm willing to be daring.

By the by, we've already gone on multiple dates.
And when I say "ask someone out" I mean I want a creative way to basically say, "Hey! I want you to be my boyfriend!"

Go on a romantic date, and find a perfect moment, maybe after a nice kiss, say 'So I guess you're officially my boyfriend then.'
Or do something mushy (if he's into that sort of thing) like give him something romantic (a kiss, card, poem, etc) and when he says something, probably wow or what did I do to deserve this, you can tell him it was to mark the moment when you two became official.

You can ask the person what do they normally do on a particular night. And after they have told you, you may show interest in that subject then ask them out. And ask would they like to do that in which they normally do that night. Now if it's something out of the question then you know what to do and what not to do.

If youve been on multiple dates, umm, are you both dating others too? or have you been exclusively dating eachother? Anyway, creative way to ask someone to be your boyfriend, just do what my gal did, tell him he's your boyfriend, it worked for me, shocked but I liked the aggressiveness...

A few years ago, this one lady friend of mine had walked up to me after class. We chatted for a bit, basic stuff, school, weather, my bad poetry, her new hairstyle, etc... She then let out a soft sigh, tilted her head back against my shoulder, looked up at me and said she wished had a tall, handsome poet for a boyfriend. To further emphasize the point, she leaned more into me and lifted her lips up toward mine. I met her halfway. A few weeks later, we decided we were better off as friends, but it was great while it lasted.
