(sane nut) I'm so terribly sorry If i have offended your weak constitution by making a little joke. And yes I am a MOTHER and a damn good one. You will NOT ever speak of my children do you understand that one freakshow. If you can't handle a little joke, then thats your problem.

(bradley) yeah its a joke regarding the terrible 2's, most of the world got it, but there is that one self righteous "person" out there who of course needs a reason to be pissed off. So let her hate me. But thanks anyway!

LOL, thanks for the laugh. I would not be surprised to see my 2 yr old son's eyes glowing, sometimes I think the devil whispers directly in his ear all day long.

Ok, if you are joking on this one, you do realize half of Yahoo Answers hates you now...*lol*, but let's give you the benefit of the doubt. :)

I did read a brief bit, I think it was in _Wired_ magazine, from a Japanese researcher's study that did find that under low-light conditions, *some people* did in fact glow with a soft, high-frequency light (not infrared heat, closer to ultraviolet). From their eyes? No, more like, from their palms of their hands, soles of their feet and foreheads...but still, point is I suppose this is *not* outside the normal course of reality.

So, what of it? Is anything scary or violent happening when this "glow" occurs? If not, why be scared? It's your child, a wee toddler that likely doesn't know better and is wondering what mommy is all fussy about....

So, love your child, just carry on as you normally do. :) And keep a written record of a) when this "glowing" occurs, and b) what happens during and immediately after the glow in the child's environment. Take notes, and note everything. No detail is too small....what you are doing is trying to *catch it early*, whatever it is that is unusual about your kid, so that if need be, you can train your child to control or surpress whatever is going on.

If you stay calm, love your unique child all the way, and keep your eyes *and mind* open, you are catching the situation (such as it is) early enough that training for control should be no harder on you or your child than toilet training was...

Oh, and at any rate, you may wish to stop letting your toddler have *soda pop* of the Coke or Pepsi variety. Aside from whether the sugar, caffiene, or carbonation is healthy or not for someone that young....there *is* that common ingredient, *phosphoric acid* to consider....as in, maybe that glow is just a sign of too much *phosphorus* in the child's diet....*lol*, like that happens, but you never know.

Ok, I'm done, I can't keep a straight face anymore...hope this helps, and I pray your kid doesn't develop *heat vision* or some such, *lol*. Take care, and don't panic.....;))

Depends. What are they doing while their eyes are glowing? I hear if they're blue, it's healing, if it's red, it could be either, but if it's a dark glow you might wanna find a priest.

The problem with yahoo answers, is that they let too many people like this, ask too many questions like this.

I've also reported this to yahoo for abuse. People like you just make me ill.
