if you found out someone you are related to is living in a tent with their toddler and sick mother? its a 3 income household with no money and a history of drug problems. the tent is on someone else's property who begs not to have any authorities come to their home. what would you do?

in response to the help if you can. no one in the family can help anymore. and the entire story is in the open. this isnt a matter of just hitting hard times. i just wanted more opinions on this subject.

i think some of yall missed the "3 income ' part. its not a lack of money coming in, so loans arent possible. they make more money than most in their family when you add it together!! yet they have no cash. sympathy and compassion are one thing, but you cant help those who wont help themselves. ( can we say CRACK)

Think of the children -- report it now.

You have to make that decision yourself, but you have to keep the toddler in mind, living in a tent is not a place a toddler needs to be.

I would just stay out of it-------unless you are willing to help them out with a place to stay or lend them money so they don't have to stay in a tent when there is a toddler and a sick mother involved.

I would have to report it. For the toddler and the sick mothers sake. It is the best for all parties. You have to do what your heart tells you to do. I think you already know what to do. Good Luck!!!

For the sake of the child, and the elderly woman, yes I would. But more so for the child, who has no idea what is going on.

this is YOUR family? contact Narcotics Anonymous. Tell them your story. There is hope and help. Don't turn them in.
Consider inviting the child into your home.
