The pictures clearly show the Blessed Virgin Owl. It's an easy mistake if you go around all day looking for the Virgin Mary in every-freaking-thing.

Chocolate makes you happy-
But if you get too into it it can cause hurt (ie fatness and pimples)
So it's a lot like sex.
Mary was a Virgin.
Seeing her in chocolate reminds us that sex is a good thing but like sex it can be tempting but destructing.
Mary knew that.

These stories prove that humans are scared of the future, and are desperate for comfort. So any sign of the mother of GOD - sends people comfort and reminds them to pray and care for each other.
It's usually easier to talk to your mother, so any picture or sign of MARY, tends to provide these reminders.

That's what I wanna know. And why do people worship Mary, I mean Mary wasn't the one that died on the cross for my sins.

The message they get is that Mary is to be worshipped, which she is not. Only God is to be worshipped. Mary can't even hear people talkin to her because she is dead.
