Since i am in Iraq and travel extensivly throughout here and Afghanistan, I can say. Most of the Iraqi's want a better way of life. You have to have some respect for these people as they have learned to survive in climate which would kill any of us. The high yesterday was 141f and the low was 97. You are in the middle of nowhere with no resources. They are extremely uneducated. You basically have to look at them as young children. With this in mind think how easy it is to manipulate a small child and have them believe what you tell them, it is the same scenario. Yes, muslim extremist are the weak link to this society and give them a bad name. There are over 10 million muslims living in the US. They are there because they want a better life and more importantly, they want their children to have a better life. Before you make a statement like that, why dont you come over here and see for yourself what true hardship is all about. I am not bashing you, only stating that your blanket statement for Iraqi's holds no ground.

Wise up my young little friend. It is NOT because of Iraqis that your mom is going to war. It is because for what ever personal reasons she chose to be a part of the military and due to our countries fine leadership and the choices that they have made we are going to war. Or should I say we are going over to destroy and then rebuild some of the most oil fertile land in the world. I mean why pay them off to get their oil when you just bomb and kill them off and then spend millions and millions in legal tax dollars given to your buddies companies and rebuild their country after stopping some of the horrible things that happen in the name of Islam.. ahh to be the pres of the US of A.... Sorry... I did my time in the Navy and now I am no longer disillusioned with the grand scheme of this "nation under god"

I hope your mom makes it back okay, but don't blame it on the wrong people. There are a lot of different things involved, some of which is your mom providing for her family, getting schooling and doing her duty to protect her county.

While it is very true that what happened on 9-11 , was a horrible a senseless tragedy . In thier country , this is how they live . These things go on all over , everyday . They can be at home eating dinner , and all of a sudden thier house gets bombed and they all die .
I am so glad , that we don't have to worry about such things happening to us on a daily basis !
But , when you say all iraqi's you are saying that they are all alike . Which would be like saying all black people are convicts . Or all mexican men are child molesters . Or that all white people are safe , and boring .
How would you like someone to put a label on you , because of the color of your skin , or where you come from ?
Even God said , show me one good person & i will not destroy everyone in the city . If you were the only good person in the US left , would it be ok to you ---> if he let everyone die because of the actions of the majority of the people in your country ?
Anyways , murder is murder & the reason for it , doesn't make it ok !
I would much rather , like to find a way to make all living things happy & healthy & loving to everyone--> not meaning to get with everyone . Just to have love and compasion for everyone !
I am sorry that your mother is having to be in this war ! But , she is the one that choose to go into the military . When you make that decision , you must be prepared that you may be called to war . And you should make sure that you can handle that ! As a mom , i would never do anything that would put my life at risk ! Because i know , that i need to be here for my kids as long as possible ! Maybe your mom should have thought harder about going into the military , before she signed up !
I myself though , think that we should take all of the really bad people out of our prison's and send them over there to fight for our country . Because , if they die we wouldn't be loosing anything . Then we could tell them that if they win the war they will be set free to live in the other country , but they would never be allowed to come back into ours . And there , we have gotten rid of all of the **** !
Oh , and we would have made things safer for us at home ! People would stop doing things to go to prison , because they would be afraid that they would be sent off to die somewhere !
For goodness sake though , STOP letting foriegn people into our country ! We have enough evil people here from our country already , why keeping on adding to it ?
