I assume hooking up means french kissing? I think that its different for everyone. I met a guy a couple of weeks ago and we "hooked up" on the first date. Its not normally something that I would do but it felt right. I think no matter what though you should NOT sleep with someone on the first date. By the way, how old are you?

i'm a bit confused by the (with tongue!) part. i always consideredd hooking up as to be sleeping with the person, but i think your asking about a kiss. whatever you do is your business. as long as your comfortable with the person and your actions, do what feels right.

Of course not. your gonna make the guy think, "if sheis this easy with me, who else has she been easy with?" And you don't want that thought to enter any guys mind. Now if you have done this already, next date if their is one, tell him that you want to be careful, that he kisses too good, but not again for awhile, ok? This makes him reassess and respect you, the relationship and himself. Then your off the thin ice, ok?

i would never do it personally.
on first date i kiss on the cheek or like a quick kiss on the lips.
first date is pretty much there to figure out if the guy is up to your standards. i have fun on the first date.

What's your definition of hook up? you seem to mean kissing. I consider hooking up to be sex. Kissing is fine, sex is not.

hook up as in SEX? Well if your intentions are to come across as trashy, easy and sleazy (ha they rhyme) then yah go for it.
