If you were on a diet where you only ate your own flesh, you would lose weight because digestion would allow you to pass some of the matter you ate.

lol! I suppose you wouldn't gain or lose weight. By tearing off your flesh to eat it, you lose weight. But when you eat the flesh, then I assume you gain it back. lol.
