I've just had my two year annevesary and things are great. I remember our first date it was so kewl. I'm from the country but live in the city and he's lived here all his life. He took me to a place where he use to go when he was younger (highschool years). It was a great railroad bridge that stood like 500 feet over the river below. We drove out to the country and just spent a few hours listening to music and talking about things that interested us. Climbing down the great big wall covered in vines, and telling each other stories that being here reminded us of.
It was so romantic to me, I felt like he just wanted to get to know me without all the drama in the world.

On a first date usually I like something casual - go out for coffee or maybe lunch or dinner. Something where you can talk and get to know each other better in a relaxed atmosphere.

dont do a movie, it creates social death...go to a place where the 2 of you can talk and get to know each other and have fun....window shopping (play TV, I like to commit on the different people walking around and make up stories about theier lives, if can be really fun if your partner is fun.) ummm...wash each others cars and have a water fight. coffee shops, parks....DONT GO TO THE MOVIES ON THE 1ST DATE.

it's a cliche but for good reason.... go to a movie then dinner. this way you will get to really talk to the person and the movie before hand will be a good ice breaker at dinner.
