in case the woman is raped or deceived by her lover and got pregnancy, it is her prerogative of that woman to go for abortion or to have a child. if she is married and got pregnancy, the issue should be discussed by both husband and wife and solve it amicably. in some cases if the doctor says that abortion is risk to the life of mother, then even against the wishes of the woman, abortion should not be done. in normal cases, it is her body and no body can deny the right .i don't think abortion is good after the first 3 months.

In most situations, I think it should be a shared decision between the man and the woman. I know many women disagree with this but I think that both men and women should have equal rights, freedoms, and obligations when it comes to conception, pregnancy, abortion, birth, and parenting etc. There is the "My body, my choice." argument however I believe just because the woman carries the child, doesn't make the child anymore hers than the mans.

Of course there are special circumstances such as rape, health risk to the mother, domestic violence situations etc. where I would not even consider involving the man in this decision.

This is one of those yes/no questions for me.

I believe women should be allowed to have the choice of abortion in the cases of rape or incest.

For me, even if I was raped I could never give up my own flesh and blood.

For those that read this, and say " abortion is wrong, immoral etc.."

I used to watch my neighbors kids while they worked.
One day the girl came up crying to me, saying something was wrong, I asked her what was up.
She told me she was 2 months late for her cycle,
I asked if she had been having sex, she said only with her brother.
She figured if she had sex with her brother she couldnt get pregnant.

She was 11, her brother was 13.

theres a real moral dillema for ya.

Her parents moved shortly after the announcment, so I have no idea what happened.

I truly agree that the lady who is pregnant and who is bearing the baby in her woumb has the right whether to give birth or abort it.There might be so many reasons that she does not want the baby but it is really wrong to go for an abortion because it was the mistake of the father and mother which intend ended up in the girl getting pregnant.the baby did no wrong then why to kill it.
think before you get into something.

Along with responsibility and choice comes accountability. I personally believe that there are be situations where an abortion might be the best solution. But we all have to be accountable to our Maker. This is not a solution that is to be taken lightly or casually. Rather, it is a permanent, indeliable act that has ripples that will travel throughout eternity.

I am pro-life, but I also understand that there are situations and circumstances in life that would make someone have to make that choice. However, I also think that if the father is a good man, and wants to have the baby, is willing to take the baby and raise it, that he should have a say so. I think that men have a right to have children too, even if they know they will be a single dad. That baby is just as much his and it is ours as women.

Within reason, yes. I am pro-choice but only during the first trimester. If it were up to me I would eliminate abortion beyond the first trimester except for the life of the mother or child.

There's no way to truly be "fair" to the man, because the simple fact is that the woman is the one who is pregnant. As a result, we have to give her the choice, although a man who had enough charm to have sex with the woman should be able to talk to her and make his wishes aware too, in an ideal situation.

I don't agree with abortion at all. I think if you do the deed, you should be prepared to deal with what comes along with that. But I am from the old school, 1800's mentality, so I know that many will disagree with me.
