5'7" is primarily dependent on the race you belong to. If you are an Asian, that height is tall enough because the average height of Asian guys are usually 5 ft 5 inches. I am 5'9" so that makes me tall than tha usual Asian guy.
But if you are referring to a Caucasian, then you might be considered short too. Most caucasians at a young age are reaching my height already so that makes me short too in comparison to them.

5,7 is ok and it is a respectable height through out the world, so u don't really have to worry about it. and for sure.......... u are not a short guy

not really short. i know a lot of other guys who are even as short as like, 5'6, and they dont consider themselves short. i really dont think a guy is short until he reaches like, 5'5 or so...then i'd say he's getting down there...

depends on the time period you are refering to. in the time of King Arthur that would have been very tall, today it is probably about avg.
