Does it kill the mystery? Is it insulting? Are you an idiot because you don't know?

No I would like it if he wanted to know.
It doesn't kill the mystery, attraction can never develop to love if you're always mysterious and secretive about your feelings. And its not insulting, he might just need confirmation about your feelings, he might be scared to share his until you voice yours first. And he isn't an idiot if he doesn't know already, he is probably only asking since he suspects but wants confirmation.

I would tell them straight up how I felt regardless of what the truth was. Don't be a fool like I was I just got out of a 3 year relationship not by my choice bc i still live him but bc he thought we made better friends. I feel like I wasted my time.

I would say, immediately and surely, that I never know with certainty how I feel. My ability to know myself and my feelings real-time is zero.

I never, ever ask anyone I care about how they feel about me. I might break down and do that on my deathbed, but not before then.

I'd answer them honestly. I wouldnt think anything badily of it except maybe I need to show them a little more affection.

I feel used, insignifigant, unloved, miserable, troubled, hated, sad, upset, mad, and constantly taken for granted.

I'd tell her, honestly, and truthfully, all stated in one small word...

"Blissful.."
