ok.. the guy I liked said it was over and that nothing would happen between us so I really dont like him anymore.. plus he does some really bad stuff.. but now he's trying to hook me up w/ his best friend. I guess he has a crush on me.. but he's almost 18 and he's a senior and I'm 14 and I'm a freshman! He seems like a nice guy.. but come on! 4 years age difference! what do I do?

Wait a couple more years then date an 18 y/o. Sounds like you know the answer, " but come on! 4 years age difference!" just tell him thanks for noticing but you are a little uncomfortable just yet with someone so close to 21. Tell him if the two of you are still around and 'available' look you up in a few years and see what happens. If you are interested in this guy and allowed, you should consult your parents first and make sure that the age thing won't cause everybody a bunch of grief, especially you. If they say no/not yet, then don't fret over it, you already have some doubts about it of your own. If they say yes then let you conscious be your guide.

It would be the best to stick with your age group because he is too old for you and a guy that age would like to do more than talk and then again some start early at your age which isnt good but why would you want to hook up with his best friend come on,I know they probably done had a converstation about you

I'm with a guy that's 4 years older then me...and we have a baby together as well. It goes pretty good but sometimes you can tell the age difference because he don't like to always do the same things as I do...because he's older and past the stage of stayin up all night n stuff like that. Take it into concideration and if your cool with that type of thing then go for it! Good luck hun.

If the guy who is trying to hook you up with him does some bad things the 18 year old does bad things as well. Also, what 18 year old man would be with a 14 year old girl unless he just wants to have sex with her and leave but if thats what your into by no means am I telling you not to do it.

I feel that maybe you should be looking at someone your own age because 4 years is considered a big difference theses day. Also you kinda have to look at why is this guy trying to hook me up with his friend? Also think about do I actually want to be going out with someone who does bad stuff because if the guy you like is doing it might be that his friend is doing it too.. So be careful because your the one that decides if you want to go out with him or not. But if I were you I wouldn't..

Here is a choice you need to think about. You are jail bait to anyone of that age and even if it a consenting relationship he can go to jail if someone chooses to get involved that thinks he is too old. Just ask my son who spent a year in jail and now has to file as a sex offender for the rest of his life over just this type of scenerio. It's not worth it to you or to him especially since you really don't seem to think it is a good idea anyway.

Listen, age is just a number, the heart makes the calls, just know your limits and don't let him talk you into things your not ready for. But age aside for a moment... birds of a feather flock together. If this guy is that bad, my advice is stay the heck away from his friends.

You are 14! don't date yet! He is 18! he wants to get in your pants! Hello! I am 34 and I still understand the game. Don't go out with him. If you need to ask Yahoo answers about this then your not ready to date anyway. Wait until you are 16 to date or go on group dates only until then so you can learn the ropes.

well technically speaking the guy could go to prison, you're only 14, where i come from, whether anything happens or not, the guy would be put in jail and possibly sent to prison for RAPE...it doesnt matter if nothing happened or not. thats just how the law works...so do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THE GUYS THAT ARE OLDER THAN 15

leave him alone he will only be using u and u will get hurt in the end try to find someone in ur age group. That is like 14-16. Good luck beside u too young to have a man.
