If I meet a good guy here, I want to start a new relationship locally. Should I tell my boy friend before I start dating? I am afraid to lose support from my current boy friend. If I don't meet a good person here, I only lose my current boyfriend, not getting a new one.

you should not cheat on him. Just break up With him, and get a guy here that will support you and forget the good one that you left...

Im also in a long distance relationship.. it has crossed my mind more than once about dating other men.. so i told my BF... he was very understanding.. all i said was that, we're so far away from each other.. if you find anyone better.. just tell me.. and i'll do the same.. he agreed but as long as there's no one.. we stay together..
don't start dating.. just start meeting people.. if you like somebody else more than your BF and they like you back.. then there's nothing wrong..
however if you really don't love your current BF anymore.. or you're tired.. then i guess it's best to break it off so he can move on as well..

If and when you meet a good guy where u are, then be honest with your long distance bf you would like to see other people. Long distance relationships rarely work out anyway.
