Military draft is what galvanized the youth politically during the Vietnam War. Bush regime knows that as long as they can get enough people stupid enough to join any military they control, they can keep their stinking illegal war going. The second they institute a military draft, the streets will be full of angry demonstrators who will focus the American public on the crimes the Bush Junta is involved in.

The Draft is a "no go" for me. the military is at its best with an all volunteer force. I'm in favor of tax cuts, but a level, consumption based flat tax plan would be the most fair. Instead of taxing every litle thing under the sun a flat tax plan such as a national sales tax would level the playing field and produce more taxpayers. The progressive tax format that we use today is far too complicated and discourages achievement. Also, the "poverty line" fluxuates from region to region the poverty line in West Virginia is far lower than the poverty line in California.

No draft. A person should not have to fight if they do not want to. Really, why should some one be forced to fight for a president who does not follow the constitution (Bush), or one that will blow up an aspirin factory for whatever reason (Clinton). As for the rest, I believe that we should eliminate the monetary unit and have a free access society, but until then, graduated income tax and a maximum wage of no more than ten times the minimum. Also, no taxes to those making under 10 000 annually.

I'm all for it,should the time come for re-instating the draft. I would not be surprised if it happens sometime in the near future, if recruitment rates continue to decline. Should the draft make a comeback, expect huge protests, and huge numbers of draft dodgers. having said that, draft dodgers should be forced to relinquish any rights, or privileges as a United States citizen.

We should reinstate the "draft" because young people these days have absolutely no respect for themselves or anybody else. We would not have as much gang violence, drop outs, drug use and teen suicides. Besides, look at all the different places you could go to and all the people you would meet.

If you want to live in a country where you have all the freedoms and privileges that you have here, then you better stand up and fight for it. FREEDOM ISN'T FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AS for the other stuff, why not.

I love it because,it is only way people can participate more in our election. They will register to remove draft from the ballot because, people do not want to die and war is not graceful for everyone.I am for Peace and I believe in volunteer in the Army.In my opinion,we live in our free country why we have to force people to draft and serve in War.If the war that is the Right cause I am sure people will line up to protect our Republic.

We need the draft; we simply don't have the manpower to keep fighting on 2 fronts.

Besides, I'd like to see every street wise bas.tard who thinks they're so tought actually get shot at and see what it means to really "throw down"
