Does anyone have McAfee Security Center and have a problem with the virus scan feature?

The virus scan feature will disable itself after I am on the internet for a few a hours. I get all the latest updates for McAfee and Windows. The software will expire at the end of the year, but I don't want a virus on my computer. Any suggestions you have would be of help.

I have had it for about 3 months with no problems. I don't know exactly what the feature is called but go to your settings and make sure it's set for auto-scan.
