Citizen Militias do have criminal status. Constitutional it extremely is the ideally suited regulation the 2nd replace to the bill of Rights. additionally identify 10 section 311. The unorganized military afore mentioned (10§311) basically ability unorganized by utilising the government, that then is self prepared by utilising the human beings at present. Infact all able bodied adults by utilising regulation belong to this form of military. of course, the priority defined exceedingly plenty sums up the nightmare we are dealing with whilst human beings ignore liberty and freedom. un-unfavorable governments continuously evolve into tyranny. and of course they'll use the media to demonize or they could haven't any desire of triumphing. Waco could have been an unintended dry run in this regard as a results of fact the government used the media to solid this form of cloud upon the cult that the human beings no longer cared that the army, even Russian and different military replaced into used to homicide those undesirable human beings. usa replaced right into a snooze.

Well - if I felt that the gov't of the United States was so awful that we needed a revolution I would agree to do it right now - in fact i would be joining one. However, I like our gov't and what it stands from which are the same Democratic-Republican ideas the founding father (IMHO) wanted us to hold. I do believe that the governement would oppose these so-called militia and I for one would stand with my government to oppose them. They sound strange either very fascist or communistic in nature as you describe that. Being opposed to a government that does stand for and by the people does not make much sense to me.
Now if you are talking about a country like Iran or maybe even Communist China I would be in agreement with you. But somehow I don't think you are.

Then I think the government would be more scared in taking away are rights. Now they can take away all our rights and NO ONE cares, they could turn this into a dictatorship and no one would be able to do anything now-a-days. The government has the armies, we don't.
I can see the government opposing it. We're allowed to do it, 2nd amendment, and I'm sure they'd try to stop it with guns laws and what not.
Oh yes, and beleive it or not there are militias out there, watch Bowling for Columbine and they show one(they seem sort of like rednecks though...no offense)

Well, under the Constitution, any such militia may be called into active military service by an act of Congress, under Article I Section 8, which puts then under the President as Commander in Chief (Article II).
So, while it may or may not be a good idea, it doesn't really get you want you want legally.

well a militia is a volunteer army so basically its impossible to have it well regulated unless you were living in the ancient times where pride was among all citizens , now a days there has to be money involved because pride is becoming hard to come by. also , the u.s. military has so many people in it that it can destroy any militia that goes against what the military wants.

do you think the govt would oppose it?? no i think the govt likes it when its people rebel against it. of course the would oppose it they arent going to sit there and let the country fall to more pieces. the govt has no power if there are factions of people waring with each other. that's why after 9/11 they promoted "united we stand, divided we fall". if there were local militias against each other and the govt with would be called a civil war. i feel like i'm in high school all over again...answering a hypothetical essay question.

We'd have a lot of tribal wars headed by crazy war lords. We'd be fighting each other constantly like they do in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
