If you already have nice people set up that you know, don't charge too much. Positive relationships with people are important and spoiled by greed.

Consider how much you paid for the cage. Recoup that money, minus some for depreciation.

Go to the pet store and see how much cocateils cost. Then reduce your price.

The main things is that your have found a good home for the birdie. Good for you!

The most important question is did you hand feed. Birds who are not hand fed don't always like people and that really affects the price. If it's not hand fed you probably won't get more than 30 or 40. If it is hand fed you can get anywhere from 60 to 100 including the cage. You're not a pet store so you probably shouldn't expect to make as much as a pet store.

My sister charged $70 - $100 for hand-fed cockatiel babies without a cage. You could add another $30-$50 depending on the size of cage.

I am a Dog Groomer and Vet Tech and love birds. If you dont find them a good home I would be happy to take them. I live in Ky.
