That's wonderful if she is still single. If she is married, there's a apparently a problem or one heck of a medical reason.

Why do people get all hung up if someone is still a virgin at a certain age...or still hasn't done the sex act.

It doesn't make you any less valuable just because you haven't had intercourse. Goodness sakes, it's very important to many people to not have intercourse outside of marriage no matter what age. Where in the rule book does it say having intercourse puts you a notch up?

I'd say if it really bothers you about her own personal life that has been free of intercourse, your wasting your time. What importance is that to you? It's her life. Not yours.

If she never does, she is still as valuable as person who has had.
Sex doesn't make you a treasure, your character does.

I hope this 29 year old is happy and healthy mentally, physically and emotionally, and spiritually and on her journey through life the way it was meant for her.

And if you are that 29 year old girl....continue to be true to yourself.. and God if you practice that.

There's nothing wrong with being a virgin....I do think there's a problem with those who are strung up on the idea that a normal or good life only revolves around people initiated or active with intercourse. That act doesn't mean you have arrived.

Probs. It is not so strange, well a bit. But, it is just because people don't tell you the truth. They might be a lot more 29 or over virgins that keep it quiet.

It is nothing to be ashemed of anyway, it is better than loosing your virginity at 12 or something like that.

Each to their own I say. Depends on why whether it's strange or not. If it's because you haven't met anyone you want to do it with then that's up to you. It's a very personal and diverse aspect of life losing ones virginity. Some ppl only do it because of peer pressure or misinformation and not for the right reason. When you feel right about it then that's the time for you.
If there's some other reason such as fear or total disinterest then ask for advice from your doctor.

Not strange at all, I am 28 and still a virgin, purely cause I've not met the right person yet and I'm sure it's the same for you too. Anyone who thinks that's weird is the one with the problem!

29 year old girl who is still virgin? it doesn't sound strange for me, coz i have cousins, friends and even aunties who are still virgin. i'll be proud of it, who cares if i'm still virgin at that age. i'll never be ashamed of myself. if time comes, and i found my man, surely he will respect me with all his life coz he will no longer get any girl who is still virgin. i mean i'm not saying all of the girls nowadays. maybe it's just that i'm saving my virginity for the one who is true, who loves me, and for the man that i'm going to marry. sex after marriage!! that'll be the good answer for that, staying virgin at 29.

no strange, I believe it's intriguing, that's a valuable person that hasn't submitted to the requests of many men wanting to have sex with her.

These days you don't find a virgin girl at that age

The benefits of remaining sexually abstinent until marriage are well established. Likewise, the physical, mental and emotional consequences resulting from sexual activity outside of a life-long relationship are not disputed.
Biblically speaking, human sexuality is both a gift and a responsibility. Anyone who has experienced sex as God ordained it understands that it is a remarkable gift. Anyone who has endeavored to maintain sexual activity purely within the boundaries God has revealed in the Bible recognizes that it is an awesome responsibility.
