I will be flying out on Southwest Airlines in the morning, and I know they have a lot more restrictions now. Can I carry my cell phone with me on the plane. I never turn it on in the plane, but need to know what is allowed before leaving.

you should be able to take it with you. just make sure you keep it off in flight. plus, some phones even have an airplane mode which also works.
