how do i keep my dog clean and smelling good?

if every time i let her out to go to the bathroom she gets dirty and stinky again.

Go to walmart and in the dog section, you will find some great smelling doggy perfume. A couple of short squirts and it will smell great!

I don't know how old she is but if she got this real Strong musky smell it can be a gland that you will find about a finger length inside the anus take her to a vet it will take him 5 seconds to get rid of it by just press it till it broke and the smell will be gone.Don't try this yourself please you can hurt her. About being dirty that's OK they love it cos they know they will be cuddled and cleaned after playing outside

What on earth is she doing out there? Rolling in it? Maybe you should take her out on a leash to go to the bathroom. Bathroom time can be different from play time.

Dogs do need to be bathed periodically, e.g. monthly.

There is alot of stuff in the contry like poop from other kinds of animals that get into the backyard. Or they could eather have gotten into something thats outside. We live in the country too and my doggys smell!!!

There are sprays that you can make her smell good between baths. They also have like a wet wipe for dogs that you can use between baths to clean their feet of their fur.

aw come on he doesn't smell that bad. Sometimes I sleep with my dog and he's pretty nice to hug during the cold winter.

I can tell you what NOT to use--Avon perfume. I had a friend who had a teacup Poodle named "Killer"--her husband thought Killer smelled bad, sprayed her, and she lost every hair on her body! A hairless Poodle named Killer.
