My hair always seems to come down on my forehead rather than stay up, so I end up having small bangs. If I put some gel on, it usually unsticks after a couple of hours. People seem to have it almost naturally stay up sometimes. Do I need to cut it shorter (it's already pretty short)?

Also, I'll be going to get a haircut next week, is there anything specific I should say to them (for those who have experience with this sort of stuff).

Sound crazy, but print those pictures up and tell them to do it like that.

DON'T USE GEL!!!! Gel is shocking and not what you need.
Go and buy American Crew fibre.... it will do EXACTLY like in the pictures, and it will stay all day. It will probably set you back $30 or so though.... but thats the price for good hair I guess.

people whos hair stand up naturally in the front have a cow lick there and it would only lay down if their hair is long. you just need a stronger gel. fiber does work and it will only actually cost about 15 dollars. either that or get some TIGI stick wax or or got2b **** from walmart...i dont know anything that gets harder than that nasty crap....but it works

I would print out the pictures and bring them when you get your haircut. that way the hairdresser can make it exactly like the way you want, and they can tell you how to style it everyday

Good luck xDD♥

Your hair stylist needs to cut your hair in many, many layers; otherwise, it'll just fall flat; also, try using a "JONATHAN" product called "DIRT"; it works!
