Why is it that Christians and Atheists bash other people's religion. We didnt do anythin to them, so why are they making a big deal about everythin.

Christians feel the need to justify wasting their lives by forcing others to follow a warped view of the universe. Atheists are defensive due to a life time of fighting them off with logic.

Gee, it is always fun to generalize...

Maybe we have logged on at different times of the day. When I have been logged on site, I have noted several christian type responders and atheist type responders that don't appear to be bashing anyone.
Granted we appear to be in minority.
My purpose for being here is to learn something new and have fun expressing my opinions. While I have put forth some strong opinions, based on my own spiritual searching and study, I have found bashing does not further, nor fit into, my goal/purpose very well.
It is unfortunate that you and others have been bashed, sadly there are a few that have made it a sport but just remember it is the poison they have chosen for themselves, and you have a choice to make - let them inject you with that poison or just sigh and realize how sad it is that there is so much poison floating around.
Take care

If you looked up the defintions of words, you'll find Atheism is not a religion. Its simply believing there is no god. Its not a difficult concept.
A big deal is made about christians because most of them feel the need to push their values and beliefs on others and these people are expected to follow. But, thankfully, the world us no longer ruled by religion and people are free thinkers and seen through the "fairy tales (a.k.a. the bible)

The problem with Christians is that they are imperfect humans.
The problem with atheists is that they are imperfect humans.
The problem with all people is that they are imperfect humans.

And, as such they tend to be a bit sensitive if you suggest that maybe, JUST MAYBE they don't know everything.

The ones who do the ragging and complaining are insecure about themselves and their future.

The ones who complain about the complaining are the ones who don't understand why the others are so insecure.

The real, secure, confident Christians, Muslims, Atheists don't need to complain, question, or criticize.

We are just stuck in the middle of their war. I noticed most of the insults on here are about Christians, Atheists, and Muslims. Its kinda sad that people have to stoop that low. I'm not any of those three, but it still annoys me.

I wouldn't worry too much you might of just got caught in the crossfire of people already annoyed.

I'm a Christian that's never bashed your religion. Does that count for anything? I hope you don't stereotype everyone as part of your religion.

If someone slandered you, saying you slept around or took drugs or spread gossip, you'd find that offensive, wouldn't you?

Christians know the truth, and are offended when others slander what we know is pure, holy, just and right.

We get offended when people call lies the truth and deceive people into a path we know leads down the broad road to hell.

Our motivation and desire is that people turn to the light of truth and follow the truth that leads to life.

It may seem like "bashing", but it's simply reacting to dangerous doctrines and falsehoods.

Better question, why do so many Christians on this site feel threatened by other people's faith?
Some people believe differently, and it's not a case of "we're right and your wrong". Do what you want, have fun and let us practice our faith in peace....

Keteni,
If they are asking for it, they usually get it. Wouldn't you tell your child that if he/she wants trouble, they'll find it?

What you have is years of hostilities from different religions, like Christianity and Atheism. Yes. They are both religions.
