Yes, but it is better to work several parts of the body. Work at least three parts, one at a time and let that parts recover over a three day period while you work the other two on consecutive days. Do push-ups one day, the next do sit-ups and the next walk for about 20 minutes. I try to do 80% of the maximum, but do it several times a day. I really do at least two every day tho. 100 sit-ups every morning before I get out of bed. Walk 1/2 mile. and at least 100/200 push-ups 25 at a time. Do what you can do, but keep it up. It takes lots of exercise and lower food intake to lose fat. lol ... lots of luck!

Yes because the entire body is working even when you are concentrated on one part. The body uses the fat to get its energy and will take from were its easier, it could even be from another part that you are not working.
The best thing is to eat healthy and exercise regularly, let the body consume the fat in the order that it wants to.

yes, your body burns stored calories (wherever they are)
it may look that if you work out a certain part of your body that part will get "less" fat but in reality is getting the same distribution of fat as the rest of the body (that is why you measure body fat percentage not "XX" body part fat index) but gettin g more "definition" due to the muscles you are working out
having said that you will have to remember that body parts that have more percentage of fat will loose more (boobs, etc)
so inconclusion you work out you loose fat all over

detrimental! you could shed extra pounds from particular physique aspects via weight coaching, you have it any incorrect way around, you won't be able to learn weight specially aspects! some women wanna earnings weight in basic terms of their butt which isn't feasible until eventually you have sturdy genetics! lol, case in point if i think my hands are not toned i can do bicep curls and tricep extensions and my hands will tone at the same time as my legs wont, get the image?

Yes - you can't pick the part which is to lose weight. You can use muscles in a part to burn energy and cause you to lose weight but the loss is all over your body.
