Think about it. Girls are pickier than ever. They have no problem being mean to unattractive guys, but also have no problem flirting with, hitting on, hooking up with, and sleeping with all the "hot" guys, which makes the unattractive guy feel even worse.
And to compound matters, we always have to hear bullshit questions like "Where are all the good guys?" and worse still, "All men are jerks" because some "hot" guy used her for sex and even cheated on her. But it gets worse STILL, because before long, the girl will miss her "hot ex" and want to hook back up with him! In the meantime, the unattractive guy has yet to have a girlfriend his entire life.
It's totally unfair. Can you think of any time in history worse than today? I can't.

whoa there buckeroo! It is just as bad from this side. It seems as though no matter what a guy looks like, he always expects to get a woman who is a knockout. Some girls just don't know what is good for them & they go for the beauties and get their hearts broken. The smarter ones go for non superficial qualities, like sense of humor, but if the girl isn't stacked, then she doesn't have a chance. Two sides of the coin, kiddo

sorry love. It's all got to do with pop culture and television. They see beautiful people on the screen, they want beautiful people off the screen.
Don't consider yourself ugly though. If you believe you are, it shows it, and that's unattractive.
