Is it AKC registrable? How old is it? Do they have the parents and can you look at them? All of these will help you decide of the mini dachshund is worth the $250. It will need the rest of its shots and also need to be fed good quality food and be dewormed. Good Luck.

$250 is a good price, at least for around here. Check the breeder out. Make sure the pup comes from a clean environment. It is good that it has had some of its shots. Asked if it has been seen by a vet too.

It matters on the breeding. Make sure the eye's are clear and check the gums and push on them and then let go fast and make sure the gums turn white and the pink fast. Usually they go for 200.00 up to 500.00 depends on if it is papered and the pedigree. So it sounds like it is a pretty good deal. If not papered I would offer 200.00 and see what they say but if not 250 isn't bad.

That is a good price. Here they cost about $300.00-$400.00 and just for the record, it is spelled dachshund.
