I've been paying more attention to my health, quit drinking beer, and I've been working out alot. Both cardio and weight training, pretty much every day. I'm 6'2, so I'm a bigger guy anyway, and since I've been lifting and doing the cardio I've noticed I've lost some fat and gained definition...my upper body really is showing it. Thing is, I have noticed that more women at work are saying hi to me, and just noticing me in general. Are women really that receptive to a guy who's obviously working on his health and physique?

Maybe but unless you are going to work without your shirt on I would think it's more likely that you have more self-confidence now. You feel better about yourself because of what you are doing and your attitude is probably much different. Most people like someone who exudes confidence without being arrogant. Don't start talking about your workout routine or doing push-ups in the breakroom or you may lose the fan base. Keep doing what you're doing, look women in the eye and say hello. Good for you. : )

A girl is always afraid of dating a slob but a guy who takes care of himself probably keeps a clean house and will live past the age of 60. It doesn't mean anything, just perception.

absolutely not! Maybe your attitude has changed and you have more confidence in yourself, and that may result in women's approach lately.
It's all about the body language not the muscles !!!
