if you love smores that much, you're probably addicted to chocolate. I know it sounds weird, but it happens. Try to wean yourself off of chocolate slowly...and find alternatives that are low-fat and sugar - there are tonnes out there (try a health food store - they usually have good selections).

How dare you ask that question. There is never an alternative to real smores cooked on a stick outside over a campfire until the marshmallow turns golden brown on the outside and melty and creamy on the inside, with the chocolate all oozy and gooey and dribbling all over your face and clothes as you try to take a bite out of the graham cracker. Oh god I just came.

I read in a magazine recently that you can make smores healthier. By losing the marshmallow and chocolate. The graham cracker isn't bad may be put some fruit and peanut butter, cream cheese, low fat pudding, strawberries, sour cream. Put some thought into it and you'll think of many more combinations.

Well if it is just the gooey texture you are looking for, you could always try Fluffer Nutters. It is two pieces of toast with peanut butter and marshmallows or marshmallow cream in the middle. You can use a whole wheat bread, and low fat, no sugar added peanut butter to take out some of the fat and calories. You can always add a teaspoon or so of chocolate syrup to the Fluffer Nutter's as chocolate syrup is fat free, if you are craving the chocolate.

Drizzle caramel over the graham cracker and toasted marshmallow. Maybe toasted coconut along side the marshmallow. Could also slice fresh strawberries.......Just forget the chocolate.....you cannot substitute chocolate. I bet you would be surprised with this.

well, marshmallows are fat free, so those really arent too bad...i also watch my weight, and i do know that they make low fat grahm crackers, which are just as good as the original, but i dont know what you would do for the chocolate..i know carob is like an organic type of chocolate, but not made with milk...i dont know about the nutrition value on that, though..

Frozen chocolate yogurt would be good.
Sugar free chocolate pudding on banana slices with cool whip.
Strawberries dipped in fat free sour cream and then rolled in brown sugar. (sounds weird but tastes wonderful).
