some say it is good to speak the truth, but in some situations its not because it can be hurtful to someone. I speak the truth when it has to do with something that is serious, but if it's not and it's a question that can hurt someone, I fib a little bit. And sometimes, you might think you are speaking the truth but only starting a rumor, at which times, you should just keep your mouth shut until you know it's true. Most people don't.

If you always speak the truth....but leave some of it out bec. it is not good for you....then you are not speaking the truth...because omitting some of it is also a lie....so I don't really think that a lot of people really speak the truth.....
