It depends ... how hard are you willing to work?
When walking, about 60% of the calories you burn will be from fat. However, walking doesn't burn a whole ton of calories.
When running, only about 40% of the calories burned are fat. While that would seem like less, you burn enough extra calories by running that there is an increase in the amount of fat you've burned. Running is a LOT more work though. (Make sure you learn about how to safely start a running routine, you have to start slow so as not to hurt yourself!)
It all simply depends on how much you're willing to work to get the weight off. Also, these processes tend to burn more fat layered near muscle, than fat on places like your stomach. If you want to remove stomach fat make sure you're not a drinker or overeater, or your attempts at removing stomach fat have next to no chance at getting off the ground.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

I lost 3 pounds a week eating at subway daily specials and walking 3 miles a day and drinking 60 oz of water every day. Weight lifting 3 times a week and walking 5 days a week.

Hi
This plan worked for me so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx
Good luck

It depends on your age and weight. If you are not too old, and not too overweight then running will drop the weight faster. If your joints are bothering you or you don't enjoy running, then walking will work fine. Sugar and too much bread will keep the weight on.

The best is whatever you enjoy more because then you will keep it up and that is the best way to get in shape--steadily rather than quickly. Suggestion would be to start off walking and then incorporate other forms of excercises into the program including running. Have fun

Jogging would be better, but then depending on your age running will work faster. Walking will be more suitable for older people or those with heart problems,

Running burns more calories, but you might stick with an exercise program longer if you walk. Running is hard on the body.

I've been doing alot of walking and the "pooch" is still there.
I would also suggest some ab crunches.
Worked for me before, but just gotta do them again after 2nd child was born.
