My only answer for you is to "PRAY". Ask God to step in and take control. He has the power to knock satan down to his knees. Trust and believe and you shall see.
I hope you get better and realize that you were born for a reason. You may not know what the reason is today but keep on living and you will one day find out.
Stick around because somebody needs you.
I'm no shrink or anything but here are a couple of more things you can try.
Try to go to sleep at night with positive thoughts and try to wake up with positive thoughts.
If you are not in school, take a class or two or find a little job somewhere so you can keep busy and perhaps meet new and interesting people.
One more thing. . . . . . Remember, whatever it is . . . . . . . . . .
IT IS NEVER THAT SERIOUS! LIFE CAN BE A BIT MUCH SOMETIMES BUT WITH ALL OF THE CHAOS OR CONFUSION, FIND SOMETHING IN IT THAT IS "FUNNY".
IF YOU CAN TURN THE SITUATION AROUND, THERE IS SOME HUMOR SOME WHERE TO BE FOUND AND JUST SIT BACK AND LAUGH ABOUT IT!! ;D
LAUGHTER DOES WONDERS FOR THE SOUL. TRY IT AND SEE.
BLESSINGS :)

I was hospitalized three times in 2005, beginning in January and ending in August. I would have suicidal thoughts and plans. As I was diagnosed as having bipolar disorder with psychotic symptoms, and properly medicated, I began to feel better. However, suicidal thoughts would linger. My therapist told me that my "suicidal ideation" was my personal defense mechanism for anxiety. After hearing that, the feelings went away and I hope for the best. I try to treat other people as I want to be treated. I am no longer afraid of death and Hell. Suicide should only be a last resort in my opinion. The best suggestion I have is to try to do something you might like. Walk in the neighborhood. Listen to music, one song that helped me was Madonna's "Die Another Day" from the last James Bond movie. Try to do the things that are best *for you*. Get lost in something that entertains you. Sleep.

That means that the medication you're on is not working.
You must call your doctor right away and tell him.
He will either increase your dosage or switch you over to another medication.
Believe me. Your doctor will want to know this NOW!!!
They don't take it very well, if one of their patients dies on them, while in their care.
As to your question. YES!.. You will get better and with the right medication, you will be free of it soon. Forever. Just make SURE, you take the medication EXACTLY as prescribed. Stay on it. It doesn't work overnight. But it won't take forever, either.
You're doing great. Just try to keep laughing as much as possible, until he can get with you.
Go to the website ebaum's world.
Click on VIDEOS, then click on HILARIOUS videos.
Watch funny DVDs. Read joke books.
Keep your mind busy and away from depressing thoughts.
Stay on this website too!
WE WILL HELP YOU GET THROUGH THIS!
WE CARE.........WE REALLY DO!!!
Be as strong as you can. You have your WHOLE LIFE ahead of you, with lots of fun and laughter waiting for you.
I am an RN. I know about chronic depression. I have 2 friends, who also had to battle it once. It's horribly sad.
Just keep putting your mind in reverse, everytime you feel it comming on. FIGHT IT. Don't let it win! Remember, those thoughts are your enemy.
Love,
Molly

Yes you will get better. I've been there. I went many years where I had those thoughts ALL THE TIME. I know how hopeless I felt. And how painful it was. Give your life over to God and Jesus Christ. It really is the answer. Tonight say a real prayer to God. Ask Him for help on this specific question. Ask for both a short term fix to help you get through your days and a longterm fix to get over it for good. Continue praying to him as if you would talk to a regular person. Because He is a real person. Pay attention to answers when they come. They are sometimes quite, sometimes quite miraculous. Also begin repenting of your sins and asking for forgiveness. I promise this will help you. God Bless.

Call an emergency hotline to talk to someone
about this now! if you were an inpatient, they
should have given you the number upon your release. If not call the operator and have her connect you. if you are smart enough to ask for help on this site, you probably will be alright. It's those people who don't ask for help and who deny their problems that are the worst off.
I am sure we all are pulling for you. Take it slow- one day at a time. Good luck and now call the hotline.

I have had depression for about six years now. I don't thinkl it ever toally goes away, but rather, comes and goes in phases. Getting help is the best thing to do. I didnt like the idea of taking antidepressants, but they worked for me, and honestly, they were one of the things that saved my life. But the most important thing that you can do is have someone to talk to that is going through the same thing. A person that you can call when your about to try and kill yourself, and just when your feeling like crap. I hope this helped, and if you wanna talk, my email/MSN messenger is wakesetter14@hotmail.com. Stay strong.

1) Let someone know, ie. doctor, healthcare worker, etc.
2) Distract yourself; book, tv, Yahoo answers, etc.
3) Continue to take your medication (it may have to be changed to get the medication & dosage just right for you).
4) Over time you will get better. You have to believe in yourself. It is a struggle but I believe you can do it. I can see that you want to get better & with the proper help & medication you will.
Good luck to you.

I believe God can help you more with this question than I can. He put you here for a reason, so please don't leave early. I'm glad you're seeking help, so please don't quit trying. If you pray and try hard enough mabe the thoughts will go away. There are times in everyones life that we feel depressed and worthlessness, but believe me you're here for a reason. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, so don't quit trying.

You say out loud the "thoughts" that are bugging you " I bind you in the name of Jesus" It is un natrual for someone to want to take their own life. If something "in your head is tell you to take your life it's probably a demon. You know what I'm talking about. In America, people dont want to call things by name but if you can hear them dont pretend that they are not real.
If you trully being troubled, then tell the demond that are speaking to you that you bind them in the name of Jesus and that you renounce them. Then ask Jesus to come into your life tonight and he will. I promise! Then to a good church.
