If you HAVE to tell her, the best way would be to just come out and say it. "I know I probably wasn't supposed to know about this, but It's really ben bothering me... [insert topic here]". If it would be too difficult to say it to her face, try and Email, or leaving a note somewhere she would see it.

Good luck. =]

Straight up - no small talk, no dancing around - just do it and it's over - what's the absolute WORST that could or will happen? If the answer is not death or destruction - get it done sooner rather than later

If you mean you know something about your mother that she thinks you do not know, the question becomes whether it is your business or not. In most cases, it will not be your business and should not become a topic of conversation.

If you mean you know something about a topic that she thinks you do not know about, just tell her.

Good luck!

It depends on what it is. I found out that My dad hired a prostitute to do things to him right before my parents got married. That's not something to discuss.

Its best to let it go if you think it would upset her. You know the old saying, the less said the easiest mended.
