he could be testing you, or satan may be trying to make you stumble.

It is also the fact that the element of good is more in the creation than the element of evil. We all see that there are more people who are healthy than those who are sick. There are more that eat well then those who starve. There are more that live decent life then those who commit crimes. Goodness is the rule and evil is the exception. Virtue is the norm and sin is the aberration. Generally trees bear fruits, the flowers bloom, the winds move smoothly. .

This is a temporary world and every thing here has a time limit. When its times comes it will die, come to an end and finish. Neither the good things of this world are forever, nor the bad things eternal. We are here for a short time and we are being tested. Those who will pass this test they will find an eternal world that is perfect and permanent. Those who will fail this test they shall see the evil consequences of their sins and corruption.

How many times it happens that we are not careful and still we reach safely to our destinations. The way people drive in some cities, it is a miracle that more accidents do not happen and more people do not suffer. Allah says: (Allah) Most Gracious! 2- It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 3- He has created man: 4- He has taught him speech (and Intelligence). 5- The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; 6- And the herbs and the trees both (alike) bow in adoration. 7- And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice), 8- In order that you may not transgress (due) balance. 9- So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance. 10- It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His) creatures. (al-Rahman 55:1-10)

Abu Yahya Suhaib bin Sinan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him".

God has his own reasons for his actions. Everybody experiences difficulties and insecure situations throughout their lives...it's all a part of human nature. The harder the route, the more strength you emerge with at the end. Always remember that everything happens for a reason, and the troubles you and your friends' families are having are going to strengthen them through some way in the future. The best you can do right now is hang in and hold your faith in the fact that God will always have a reason.

Good Luck :)

I have contemplated this question a lot in my life. I have a strong faith but when tragic things happen I start to really question my faith. I remember when 9/11 happened and I thought how could God do this, have 2 bldg's collapse on so many people and bury them?? But then I talked to someone and they made such a good point...think of all the people who called in sick that day or who were running late and were saved.

My grandmother just went in the hospital for "exploratory" surgury at 86 yrs old and is VERY healthy and came out of it in a coma, and now her whole left side is paralyzed and she can't talk. I thought, why would God do such an awful thing to someone whose such an amazing person, and I do still wonder this. But then I think, she lived an amazing life for so many years, and I have to remember stuff like that.

When you think about the negative and why God does these things, why do people get cancer, why do people get murdered everyday, etc....try to look to the positive. I know it's very hard when your in the situation, but think of the things he does do....that has helped me to still believe.

First your friends family is not alone and not the first.

When Adam and Eve refused to follow God's will the Earth was cursed. Bloodshed, greed, illnesses, etc. now cover the Earth.

God is aware of your situation before you where born and before the Earth was created. Ephesians 1:4,5. And everything is according to God's will is indicated in other parts of the Bible.

Nevertheless I would recommending praying for them and you. God is listening.

Nobody is pure on this Earth. We do not have protection from everything on this Earth. We are not given everything we want. More importantly we cannot do everything we want good or bad. My yoyo diet still persists. But I still try and struggle.

1 Corinthians 3:9-23

There is more to say. I want to rephrase more for your question and great concerns. But I have ran out of gas. All the best.

God does not cause bad things to happen. Satan is responsible for all things that are bad. It sounds like you are going through a rough time right now, and this should be the time that you draw closer to God. Grab hold of him and don't let go and he will get you through it. Good luck and God Bless

Well to start there are no good people. For even if just in thought or hypothetical it is sin. We are all sinners, there is none righteous no not one. And this is because of the fall of man in the garden. Yet we have free will. The will to do bad things. Even if we don't think they'll hurt anyone else they become a wave, a ripple in a pond, and touch shores far away we don't even think of. So whatever you and your people are going through it's not because God did it but because in order for you and I to freely love him He allowed us to have free will. How else can you love but freely? He showed us the greatest and most beautiful love ever to embrace a human heart, he gave it freely without cost to us, and we just say" why?". When we should say how can I sin against that!? How can I deny him my love in return? How can I not want to get to know him better? And then he also gives us prayer to request of him! A book to tell us who he is . A supernatural book that speaks directly to each and everyone of us as individuals. We all still sin it is in our nature, but a christian should always be sinning too much. for they are changed inside to see more than we did before. Hope and pray then listen.

When you think you are having a bad time, just talk to folks around you and you may realize that your problems are chicken feed to others. We all have problems..trust me. Some folks can smile through a bad time while others are devastated; however, things don't always remain the same way...God may be testing us.
I think that sin, instigated by Satan is the reason for problems but if you trust in God you can banish the worst of bad times. God loves you.

God puts us all through tough times. It helps to think of God as your father. There are things your parents have to let you go through, there are things they have to deny you too. When you come out on the other side you are changed, strengthened, closer to who you're supposed to be.

I was born with hereditary cataracts. I wore Coke bottle glasses since I was age three. I was teased and beat up a lot in school. It was hard. It was cruel. But, I wouldn't be the person I am today if I hadn't gone through it. I'd be someone totally different most likely. I might not be as accepting of other people. I might not stick up for the little guy.

It's hard to trust God's will. It's hard to be fathered sometimes, but there's a reason for suffering. Jesus told us that we'd suffer, and that when we do, we are blessed.

I am not going to say that God is responsible for anyones suffering.John the Baptist was beheaded,Paul and Silas were put in Prison. I even heard of a preacher that was on death row for a murder he didn't commit. He was later released after he was found to be innocent. He said he had never had as many converts as he did in prison. He said at first he thought God was against him,but now thinks that God put him there to preach in Prison. Now that he is out he still goes back to preach the gospel.I believe there is always a reason. Sometimes we just don't understand the reason.

We all go through some steep valleys throughout life,
But you go through them so that you learn from your experiences and build you relationship with God and strenghten your faith, and to share your testimony to strenghthen others.

You'll also be able to help someone else who falls in the same situation later on. And trust me it's a wonderful feeling to be able to help others based on experience

So you go girl and don't stop praying and trust the Lord your God always. And remember God doesn't allow bad things to happen to his children(Christians) without a reason.
