I feel bad but she was getting really annoying and was pinching me. I don't know if I pushed her really hard either, I'm a lot older than her.

it's not bad if it's unintentional.... accidents do happen when you are careless or when you are fustrated. The fact that you asked yourself this question indicates that you are regretful and apologetic... Move on!!

Hitting, shoving, pushing, pinching...none of it is good. A little sister can be really annoying. You say you are older than she, so it is up to you to do the right thing and show her how to behave. In this instance, you should have stooped down so you were eye to eye with her and asked her to please stop because she was hurting and annoying you. If she continued, do the same thing - and then the same thing again. She will eventually stop because you are not responding the way she wants you to.

She knew she was annoying you and enjoyed it simply because, and the more you react, the more she enjoys it. You likely annoy your parents the same way. Growing up is learning to speak what is on your mind in a way that makes others want to listen...including parents.

So, start now and try to be a peacekeeper. Use your intellect, not your muscle.

Of course it is bad, unless it was a true accident, by which I mean you ran into each other and she fell. Hurting somone else is always a bad thing and if you are not careful it can become a problem. You are her big brother, you are supposed to be the one who protects her against anything. You need to apologize and try a figure out why you pushed her and what to do next time so that you don't.

Yes, its bad.
Apologize to her, don't push her so hard again-- but let your parents know she is having a pinching problem and ask them how they would like you to get her to stop that.

You have to be in control of your actions. Sometimes children get on your nnerves. The thing is you have to realize (as the older brother) that she is younger and is not aware of her actions. Therefore you have to be mindful of hers and yourself. Next time take a few deep breaths and do not resort to violence.I am sure if someone else did that to her you would be furious.
