I don't think you do that with magnanimous gestures, but in your everyday experience. A man can do more to win a girl's heart a piece at a time throughout a day than to pull off one grand gesture that's supposed to last a lifetime. The latter may seem more romantic at the time, but it is the former where the heart is won.
That's not to say you can't be creative, ingenious, romantic, mysterious with the course of action I'm stating. Quite the opposite. Unfortunately, those that take this course are too easily pulled into a routine, and that's where a girl gets bored. So to do this well, you have to remain focused and consistent.

I would cook her a really nice meal with her favorite flowers as the center piece for the table. Try to have it at her favorite place. Pretty much do everything she wanted. And as the guy up above said let her know that I'm there for her when she needed me most.

find something that she mentioned or talked about at one piont or another and buy it for her or make it or memorize her fav song or lines from her fav movie and casually use it on her. but on an every day basis i like to get her all mad by playing with her and joking about her till she starts getting mad and then i tell her that i love her adn give her the sweetest complimint she has ever heard. or sometimes i tell her really embarresing things about me or my past that i kno she will find cute and dorky and not like me. she seems to like those cause for one thing im opening up to her second im telling her something i have to trust her with, and third it always make her smile a lot. but yeah maybe i said too much i hope i helped

Spend time listening to her and responding to what she says ....and give her a little gift "just because" ....Like a note or ice cream (nothing expensive needed, just some careful thought)

Be there when I say i'm going to her, call her when I know she needs to talk, be loyal to her, listen to her when she needs to vent about something, support her when she's making difficult decisions, allow her to have her space when she needs it, and give her what she wants when I would rather do something else. I would compromise because I care about her.
