how many cops do you know that are queer?

Not true. People tend to do as they wish then get angry when caught in the wrong. Always come correct and the police are not a problem. We the people empower the police. We should be partners not adversaries. Have you seen Dog The Bounty Hunter?? The people help him catch misguided people. That is the type of relationship all people should and can have with the law enforcement folks. If this happens then the cops can afford to have bright colored vehicles. Create the space that we are all behaving, no crimes- jay walking, speeding, rape, arson, murder, theft, kidnapping, extortion, tax evasion etc.. and the interface between the police and the public will transform dramatically. Be the change. Peace.

Why should they make themselves easier to see? If you are obeying the laws, then you should have nothing to worry about if a cop is around or not.

Don't break the laws!!!

Lol. Some holding rooms in police facilities are painted pink - supposedly has a calming effect on the violently inclined.

I can think of better reasons for cop cars to be pink, it has nothing to do with them being seen. LMAO!

Do you not already know who they are when you see a black and white car? Can you not already recognize them when you see them in in the rear-view mirror? Even at night? Last time I checked, people had no trouble seeing them as they are right now.

No, because you should obey the law because it's right to obey the law, NOT because you don't want to get into trouble. That's called, let's see, what's the word I'm looking for? Oh yeah! Maturity!

Why? Do you have something to hide? I don't care what color their cars are or where they may be as long as they are close by. In Mexico City they drive around with their over head lights flashing. Who knows?

Might as well just paint a bull's eye on the car.

I agree, pink uniforms also, we dont want to confuse them with garbage men or custodians.

I'll take it a step further- cops should only be "outed" homosexual men...THAT alone would reduce crime tenfold.
