because they want you to pay a lot more money for them + shipping rather than buy for a lot less at somewhere like target.

It's all about hype. They want you to buy it right here, right now at their super duper rip off price that'll be roughly $30+ then the store prices. I've noticed the same thing with some online dept. stores "not available in stores" and yet the item is most of the time.

Because they want you to buy it from them and only them so they can get money. In some cases the store buys the products from the company and they sell it in their store to get money...however they sell it lower so they can make a bigger profit by the people buying it from them than the tv.....yea sounds confusing...it is

I hate the ones that give you a fake time limit to call. Like they actually know when the commercial is being aired. So sad.

They are trying to sell something, and know that the price they are charging is too high. You should be skeptical about anything that you have to take advantage of right now.
