Yeah, been there done that, which is why I always disliked the family get togethers.
I can say, one time (no it wasnt at band camp people) I decided to invite everyone in my immediate family over for thanksgiving dinner. Usually with getothers someone always wasnt invited or didnt go because they had a problem with someone else in the family. I basically told everyone they would be there as our family had experienced two deaths and my grandfather was placed in a nursing home (etc etc) I told everyone to be on time or else. Everyone did appear within 20 minutes I had all 28 family members sit down and I yelled to get thier attention and said basically" we have all had arguements gripes etc over petty or not so petty things, whenever we get together something negative happens, I expect all of you to grow up today and for the time you are hee today there will not be one bad look stare mutter squabble or disagreement. We will all behave like the adults we are or you leave now". Everyone voiced agreement and we enjoyed the day. I was proud of that day and still am.

OMG! This is my life story here! Ok - my theories:
there are some haters (jealous types)
there are those who must always have drama (that crazy aunt)
there are some who think they are better than others (stupid bro in law who works as a computer parts salesman thinks he's Bill Gates)
there are people who just can't be happy in life
the truth there is no way out of the situation unless you leave and stay away from it. my sugestion - move to be at least a 1 hr drive away with 2 expensive tolls in between - works for me =)

Because when a group of people live together as a family, incidents occur, people react differently, and eventually, everyone in the family fall into roles and behaviors. No matter how much time elapses, there are still some family members who fall back into those roles when they get together with the family again,

thats what families are for. everybody has one in the family tree. we just had a reunion. the one that usually drinks too much stayed sober and a different person got blitzed. at least she broke up the monotony of the same old drunk. laugh it off. i sent her a copy of the video. tee hee. she didnt laugh it off like i did.
hmmmm. maybe i'm onto something. bet she stays sober next time. m

People view thing differently ;nowadays most people think selfishly. And they don't care about others feelings and opinion. That why respect and limits must be present in families,Unfortunately this is no longer the case.

i think of you're comparable to each human interior the international. all and sundry thinks they are gay or lesbian in some unspecified time interior the destiny of their existence. regrettably in our society human beings are so afraid of being gay whether they themselves have not got a concern with it or their kin have not got a concern with it that they attempt so complicated to alter themselves and close away the sentiments. it sounds to me such as you like men and females. who cares rather. in case you like to pass out with a woman then do exactly it and don't concern approximately your expectancies of your self (you needless to say do no longer choose to be alesbiann yet do no longer see why no longer).

probably because they can't stand to see others having fun. I have an in-law that does things like that. She even spoils things that aren't planned by her. She likes to control everything. The more we try to avoid situations like that the worse they get.
If you find a solution please be sure to share with us.
