Some of these people are idiots. I've owned Frenchies before, and in fact, I have one now. They are not huge, anything over 28lbs can't be registered. No, they are not headstrong and hard to housebreak. My Frenchie I have now was the easiest dog to potty train that I've ever owned. In fact, Frenchies love to please their owners and are known as "the little clowns" for a reason. Yes, in the States they will cost you upwards of $1500. But you need to consider that the amount of cost is just the beginning. They are prone to skin and respiratory problems like any bulldog breed. You can expect to have higher vet bills than with other breeds. They do need exercise, but be careful of the heat. With a sweater on, my Frenchie loves the snow. You need to make sure that you can afford to feed them "the good food", like Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, or any of the Natural Dog Foods. Good luck. If you can afford it and are willing to give proper care, a French Bulldog will be the best dog you have ever owned.

Bulldogs (English Bulldog as some people call them) are usually larger and have button or rosed ears. French Bulldogs are smaller with bat ears. Sometimes the French Bulldogs don't has as scrunched up a face as the Bulldogs.

Hi,
I'm from France, and got 2 french bulldogs at home (called here:"bouledogue francais"). I lost an old one (the mother of one of them) few months ago, it was 16years old...
It's a very smart and lovely dog, you can trust;

If I can give you a tip, take one with all papers and from a good family line, from a professional breeder.
It costs approximatively 1000-1500euros (1200 up to 2000 USD)...

Check the local vets and breeders in your area, I do know English bulldogs are running between $1,000.oo to $1,500.00 so I am quite sure the french breed will run between 15-1800 dollars min.

My boss raises them and they sell anywhere from $1500 to $3000. I would try to find a French Bulldog rescue place and see if they have any around where you live. They are very stubborn and headstrong dogs and can't take the heat or cold. They are very very difficult to housebreak too. Good luck.

Depends where you get it
I always recommend breeders, the dogs are better trained and most importantly way healthy and the price always depends on the breeder but I would say between 800 (lowest) to about 1500 (highest)

If you went to a pet store it would be a lot cheaper, but i would question the dogs health

My neighbor breeds and sells dogs as a business. In fact she just had a litter of "Frenchies" about 2 weeks ago. They sell for $1500 for black/white and up to $2500 for red/cream.
