I think a cool girlfriend gift for a skater punk would be a wallet with a chain on it or some studded leather bracelets. Anything with a skull and crossbones or something manly and scary on it. It will not only show that you understand him for who he is, but that you like him for it, too! Try Gadzooks or a Claire's Boutique at the mall.

He's your bf and you don't know what kind of music he likes? Then you must be at the beginning of the relationship and should not get anything too expensive or personal.
How about taking him on a picnic? To a skate park? Then after you eat he can skateboard and you can go "oooh".

Buy him "Fresh Cream" by the band "Cream". I haven't met a skater punk who didn't like that album, or any Cream album, for that matter.
