Yes. And Ishmael was sent away because he was trying to kill Isaac. As he still is today.
And a prophecy before Ishmael was even born, when his mother Hagar was at a well;
Genesis 16:12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
and so it is. Yet another prophecy by God that is true.
