Ha Ha my airedale puppy does the same thing, she loves my ears, maybe its a female dog kind of thing. I really believe its being done out of affection. Too bad for the q-tip company if this gets around.

my pup does that all the time if you want her to stop get up imeadiatly and say a quick...NO!... but don't say it like right away say now quietly and get up and over a period of time if she doesn't stop which she usually will... do the quick and loud...NO!... and she will learn to back off beacause all dogs dont like being yelled at unless they get a treat after you uhave a talk with them... that is the worst thing you can do for that sad face...

you obviously treat your dog as i do part of the family. dogs are very clever and dont like being left alone if your dog is a house dog he or she is just telling you that the dog does not want to be on their own

I would say your dog is showing you affection for all the love and care that you give to her.

your dog just loves you. just think about it like this, not every dog gives kisses,so when you get a dog that does----the dog loves you.
