In my personal experience, 21 years. I've also known others who lived to 19 and 20. They can probably live longer.
Just a note: From the cats I've known who lived that long, they don't even really appear too elderly until the last year or so before they went.

21 years my friends cat and had the best of food and care and lived in the house. I had a cat that died of stomach cancer but he was 16 and a half. my cats now get purified water no more chlorinated city water.it is to hard and maybe can cause kidney or bladder stones after all look what it does to our sinks and tubs. And our bodies and pets bodies are even more tender

A dear friend of mine just lost her precious cat at the ripe age of 20. I also have a cat who is going to be 13 this coming fall.
