Atheists have no religion, but do have a belief that there is no God. --and have freedom of speech. And many are searching for a reason to believe in a creator. So why not welcome a nonbelievers questions? It so happens that Christians and atheists alike have no excuse for not believing. This is what the Bible teaches-that the things that are seen leave us without an excuse. And Jesus said, "If you don't believe me then believe the works (miracles)" And many still didn't believe, but I'm sure they had God like questions!

I asked questions about God and Christian belief to come to a better understanding of those two subjects. I quite recently asked a question about prayer and received many well thought-out and level-headed answers. I wasn't out to get a bunch of snarky, irreverent, facetious answers.
I haven't asked any questions that I expect will shake the faith of anyone.
By the way, have you ever asked a Christian evangelist why they're taking all their time trying to provoke those who don't believe, trying to shake their ground?
I'm SURE you have... yes?

What a person believes, both religion related and not, is a big part of how we define who we are as individuals. Just because we don't believe in any gods doesn't mean we have no interest at all in this area and how we define our own beliefs in regard to it.

Next time you have a question on athiesm, look it up in the search bar, you may get your ignorant answers there.
"Peace to all"? You are not so peaceful with your question.
Many atheists are very interested in a variety of religions. Many want to know why people are still believing in it. Perhaps some are out to give thought provoking questions to those who are believers to help them retrieve the mind that they once had.

Because atheists are an oppressed minority who are discriminated against. Because no one turn on the television and watch the news without religion being thrust in thier face. Because like christians, atheists have the right to speak out and defend our beliefs, too. Because talking to theists, atheists sometimes discover odd history facts (that can be confirmed) that they didn't know. Because sometimes theists are very amusing because they believe in such far flung things and have made a long jump to that conclusion.

don't let it ruffle your feathers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am not atheist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i believe in what i want to believe, in the end if I'm wrong or right i will be dealt with.
you need to stay strong in your belief and if people are so easy to change there minds, then they are not strong and are indecisive people.
people who do believe are strong and can make it through the rough stuff knowing that there god will help them through it all.
other people who ask god questions are the ones who do believe. some just don't like to fallow the rules, all the time or don't see what he is or what he can do leaving them with the question.is he real?
people have there own thoughts and feelings.they go based on what they can and can not see.
hence. don't let it bother you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've wondered the same thing...but i've come to the conclusion that atheism IS their religion...their 'god' is whoever is looking back at them while brushing their teeth...they worship their own imagined intellectual and moral superiority...and they even have their own rituals...posting insulting and condescending rants disguised as questions, and running to the courthouse whenever they see or hear someone praying...
...that's gotta be it, unless it's because they're insecure about their lack of beliefs, and seek 'validation' from a group...'validation' is very important to their sense of self-worth...
...or, they're secretly looking for someone to lead them to Christ, but are afraid to ask directly...
...your pick, i guess...
God bless you-love your avatar!

NOBODY.....should be promoting anything!! i don't care what the belief is......i believe in attraction rather than promotion...act like what it is you say you are....be the best example you can be...and if some one likes what you have..they will be drawn to it...a person doesn't like to forced into anything...especially a type of belief...that is very personal....as in "personal relationship with god or the lord " isn't that what it means? each of us needs to seek our own truth..it's an inside job...that is, if they are willing to seek.... ( when i say "you" i mean collectively...i don't know what i am...i don't label myself ....but i experience god in my life and is my life..godspeed!

I'm an Agnostic. I ask questions because I enjoy debate. I would like people to know my side of things. I search for truth. There is no rule saying that you must be a Christian to post here, so I will keep doing it.
