I saw some LCD in a store today and got a little disappointed on how it works with no HD resolutions. I want to know, before getting one, if I will have resolution problems with my PS2 in a 32 inches LCD TV.

PS2 will look pretty good on a 32" LCD. You will need to upgrade the video cables that come with the PS2 to the Component Video cables.

You will also need to set your PS2 for 16:9 output and turn on the component video output; also found in the PS2 setup menu.

The PS2's do OK for DVDs but, you can get much better video performance from a stand alone quality DVD player.

No, you should be fine. But the only thing you should be aware of is not to keep the game left on for an hour. Because it can cause a ghost image left from the game (frozen). It will not come off the TV and its permanent. Then the TV is trash. Trust me I have a Philips wide screen TV. I NEVER leave it on for an hour inactive. But I really recommend Philip TVs because most are HD and have a Star Efficiency sticker on it.

Since the game system only sends a video signal to the TV and is not dependant upon it for its operation, it shouldn't make any difference. I would imagine the quality would be just as good as with any other TV.
