I've studied all three religions extensively, and am a religious Jew. I've been to many services of all three religions and am very open to other cultures. All three religions accept the Hebrew bible (old testament) in which God is introduced. Jesus was Jewish and believed in the "Jewish God" though believed that the practices of the Jews at the time needed to be changed. Those who followed him became Christians, and those who did not made their own changes in the religion, entering the Rabbinical period of Judaism. Islam also accepts the Old Testament, while certain stories they believe other versions of. Therefore God is the same diety because it has the same source.

To the person who said that Jews and Muslims turned the God of the Old Testament into a Pagan God, that is completely inaccurate. Paganism is the worship of many Gods, and we worship only one. Then you say that we rejected the other 2 parts of the trinity, and that is precisely because we see the trinity as including other Gods. You can't have it both ways-it is a matter of perspective on God.

For the person that wrote that Jews still have sacrifices-you have been misinformed. Sacrifices ended with the destruction of the 2nd temple in AD 70.

Also, someone wrote that Jews don't believe Jesus came. We do believe he came. We believe he was a kind, wonderful leader, but not that he was the Messiah. In the Old Testament it states that Elijah will come to announce the Messiah, he will come through the Golden Gate in Israel, and his presence will bring the end of foreign rule and oppression. Because these things did not happen we do not believe that Jesus was the savior. It doesn't mean that we don't respect that others do believe that though.

If believing in Jesus inspires you to be kind to your fellow man than I repect that as much as anything else. If you worship toasters and hairbrushes, who cares as long as you are a good person? Ok, I could go on for hours about this...but I've said enough for now.

All three religions believe in the same God. They are sometimes called the Abrahamic religions because they all trace their roots back to the old testament character Abraham. Their holy books contain many of the same accounts, though they do not interpret them in the same ways.

Interestingly, Muslims believe that both Jews and Christians will get to heaven because of their commonality with Islam, but Jews and Christians do not believe the same about Muslims. Jews because they believe that the messiah has not yet come and because they are God's special chosen people, and Christians because they believe that it is only through accepting that Jesus is the messiah that mankind can be saved.

Muslims see Judaism and Christianity as earlier versions of God's plan for humanity, with Islam as the revised and perfected plan. Jews see Both Christianity and Islam as perversions of the real truth. And Christians see Jews as having missed the obvious that Jesus was the messiah and Islam as a pack of lies.

Sorry, rambled on a bit there. Basically, they're all the same.

All three religions come from the same area and the same stories. The Jewish and Christian perception of god is closer because the share the "old testament" from the bible. Christians simply believe that god sent his son Christ and now there is a new testament to the bible. Christianity sprang form Judaism. Muslims share many of the same "characters and events" in the Koran.

Though it may be over simplified I like to think of them all as a different side of the same pyramid. One says the pyramid is red, while the other says it blue, and the other says it Yellow, all while looking at their own side, not being able to see the other two sides. In the end all require a "leap of faith", that being able to accept what cannot be proven or dis-proven.

There are two Christian religions only that can be spoken of in your question.

The Born Again Christians turn their focus to Jesus as their main deity. And Catholics come really close to polytheism with the way they adore their patron saints and Mary.

Islam is an offshoot of the Jewish religion, and has included some of the tenets of the Christian religion, including Jesus as an important prophet. The difference in the names from language only, the main deity has always remained constant, just the man-made stories have changed over the years

I'm no theologist or anything but I took a world religions class in high school. I learned that all three religions believe in God (the muslims call God Allah but that is in reference to the same God that Jews and Christians believe in).
The difference in the religions is that they each believe in a different human form of God or prohet. Jews, don't believe in Jesus and I think they see Moses as being the highest human form for them then Christians believe in Jesus as being the son of God that walked the earth, and finally Muslims believe in Muhammed who came a little bit after Jesus. Muslims do believe in Jesus but see him as being just another prophet but not the supreme prohet (that would be Muhammed). You can almost think of the religions as one being one step before the other; Judaism would be first, then Christianity would be next with the belief in Jesus, then Islam with Muhammed but also regarding Jesus but not praising him as the highest.
As far as Gods though, all three religions believe in the same God but from there things get a little more difficult. I hope this helps! If not try Wikipedia

Here's my answer, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the true living God. And God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son!! Jesus is God.
Know this Islamic stuff it comes from Satan. Look at their Holy Books, they are all about hate and perverse actions. If you have ever read the Quran or Hadith you can see the devils work all threw it.
My God from the Holy Bible is pure love. My God loves us so much that he manifested into flesh and walked among us. 2 commandments Jesus tells us to keep close to heart. Love thy God with all you heart, soul and strength. Next to love on another. Never did Jesus tell us to kill, rape or murder, this comes from Satan. This year I learned that they were erecting the Temple of Baal in New York Time Square. Out of curiosity, I had to find out what was this Baal Worship and what I got was it could be summarized in "he deluded the people" The Baal religion of delusion. We replace the government of God with the government of man and think that we are serving the Lord. We replace the moral standard of God with public policy and think that we are serving the Lord. This sounds alot like Islam to me, but now the Baal religion came before Christianity, it's as old as Judaism.
As for me and my house we will only serve Jesus!

Muslims worship Allah. The God of Quran.
Jews and Christians worship Jehovah, The God of the Bible.
They are not the same. Read the Bible, read the Quran, they
cannot possibly be the same god.
The God Jehovah commands people to love one another.
I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails!!!!!
I defy anyone to show me where the God of the Quran commands people to love one another in spite of their religious
beliefs.
Where in the Quran is the Great Commission given by Jesus?

Matthew 28;19-20, Go ye therefore.....Mark 16;15-18...Go ye into
all the world...Luke 24;46-49...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations...

I am Christian.Christians and Jews believe in Jesus Christ. Jews don't belive God has come back to earth yet Christians do... when he died for our sins along time ago. Thats why Jews still have sacrifices. Jesus dying on the cross was the ultimate sacrifice.

As for Muslims.. they believe in a different God called Allah. Allah their God believes it is good to have war and they wantto kill Christians and Jews.

While they all start with the same God. (The God of Abraham) the similarities end there.

Judaism neither accepts Jesus as the Son of God nor believe Muhammad was the greatest prophet.

Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God and branch off from Judaism.

Muslims believe in Muhammad as the greatest prophet and Jesus was not the Son of God. They too branch off from Judaism.
