I have some long front hair that goes in front of my eyes, will they affect my vision in any way?

Other than temporarily blocking your vision, no. It won't make you near-sighted, if that's what you're asking.

Logic, if you cannot see because of the hair it WILL affect your vision. Whether it is hair or a piece of paper, you cannot see thru it.

According to my mother's wisdom, yes. It won't hurt your eyes, if that is what you mean, but it may block light or give you something to fiddle with, breaking your concentration.

At least that is why I think she insisted on my long hair always being pinned back from my face.
