Everyone sweats at certain periods of the night while sleeping. When you wake up and you've just been sweating, your sheets will be wet.

I don't think there is a connection between you waking up and the sheets becoming wet. I am pretty sure that they are wet before you wake up.

It seems you are a male, If you have not wet the bed and it is not sweat, then it sounds like a wet dream! No I am not trying to be funny! A wet dream for a male is when he has a climax in his sleep! All seem to have their own odor, sweat, urine, sperm!

Use a thinner blanket.

Open the window.

Switch to a higher thread count bedsheet.

Don't drink so much before you go to bed.

Maybe you have a perspiration problem, go see a doctor.
