Try Microsoft Digital Image Pro ... I bought it ... Well over $100 dollars but the disk got scratched up so I just downloaded another copy off of a P2P application. This software has more functions than any software out. The "smart erase" feature would be perfect for this problem. I have used it to remove spots such as the acne you're talking about on some of my family as well as removing a stain from a shirt that had a stain in it.

The Gimp is a free programme that will do all this and a lot more. I have given a few other programmes you may be interested in.

Picasa is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organised by date with folder names you will recognize. You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups. Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organised.

Picasa also makes advanced editing simple by putting one-click fixes and powerful effects at your fingertips. And Picasa makes it a snap to share your pictures – you can email, print photos home, make gift CDs, instantly share via Hello™, and even post pictures on your own blog.

yeah, Gimp (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is great. It's an open-source (meaning: free) software that emulates Photoshop. Just type it into a search engine and it should be one of the first few to pop up. Typically, it's more complicated to download onto a Mac than a PC, but it can be done.

You already have a simple photo editor included with Windows called Paint (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint)
Open the picture
Using either the paint or copy tool, paint (or copy another small part of the face) over the blemishes
Resave the picture
